Early Postpartum Series

Erin offers this 4-week series monthly at Her Strength Studio in Latham. It is 45 minutes and appropriate for Moms who are at least 6 weeks postpartum and have seen their provider for a follow up after birth. The focus of the class is rebuilding your strength after pregnancy. Topics include core function, pelvic floor health and returning to exercise after baby is born. It’s a fun way to connect with other moms. Babies are welcome and more info can be found at


Après Birth 8-Week Wellness Program

Janine Murphy and I share the teaching of this series.

This 8-week series will encourage you, challenge you and connect you with your strength as a mother. This class is excellent for new and seasoned Moms (even if your baby is now 5, 12 or 20, you would benefit!)

You will learn about your pelvic floor, how it connects to your core and how to integrate this awareness into everyday movements. Sessions will include but are not limited to weights, resistance bands, TRX and strength-focused yoga. To compliment the strength work and balance the body, each class will end with a restorative yoga practice.

This combination of strength and practicing relaxation techniques is key to any mother’s overall health.

Many moms experience:

  • pain, tension and soreness
  • difficulty unwinding
  • uncertainty about returning to exercise
  • feelings of vulnerability, insecurity and worry
  • peeing when sneezing or laughing

This program will support postpartum recovery with experiential learning, including: 

  • core and pelvic floor recovery exercises
  • relaxation and breathing techniques
  • yoga routines for stiff, tired new Mamas
  • guidance for movement in exercise, yoga and caring for your children
  • establishing habits of hydration, rest, meditation, movement and nutrition

8-Week Program Information

  • Thursdays, 6:45 – 8:00 pm
  • March 14 – May 9th (no class 4/25 during local school break)
  • Minimum of 7 registered to run the program and maximum of 12 to keep it intimate

  • 365 Fit is located at 10 Hallwood Road in Delmar
  • Plenty of parking. You can bring your own mat or use one of the studio’s.
